State Bird: High Def
Well not really High Def,
but it's a lot better than the last Common Loon video from us.
Dan saw this guy on the way home from school.
He was just swimming around for a while,
and he actually slept while in the water.
Dan was making (or trying to make) his Loon call so
he would call back, but he had no luck.
On the plus side, you do get to hear Dan's call a lot.

Can't wait to see the wildlife friends that live around you. You live in a good area for animal lovers. I hope to see loons and egrets, too. I'm fascinated with egrets and other water birds, also eagles, owls and hawks.

Well, just wait Mom. You will definitely see plenty of egrets right up the road from our house and I can take you up to my work and on the way I always see about a dozen hawks.
